The 2007 Friendship Award Presenting Ceremony sponsored by the State Administration of Foreign Experts was held at the Great Hall of the People on September 29, 2007. Mr. ZengPeiyan, member of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, vice premier of the State Council,  Mr. HuaJianmin, State Councilor and Secretary-General of the State Council, and Mr. LiGuixian, vice chairman of CPPCC, presented the award to the winners. Mr. Zeng, on behalf of the Chinese government and the Chinese people, expressed acknowledgement in his address to all the foreign experts working in China, and welcomed more foreign friends joining China’s progress of modernization and scientific development.
